NDIS daily personal activities in Brisbane

Everyday routines are easier when the person helping you is someone you trust. EDS supports young people with daily personal activities in North Lakes and across Brisbane, at a pace that suits them.

What this looks like

  • Help with morning and evening routines
  • Getting ready for appointments, work, study or outings
  • Building confidence with personal care tasks at the person's own pace
  • Prompting and encouragement, so independence grows over time
  • Regular check-ins with family and carers, if that's what you want

How we do it

We don't do one size fits all. Before support starts we talk through what a normal day looks like, what's working, and where an extra hand would make the biggest difference.

Support workers are matched to the young person, not just rostered into a gap. Shared interests, whether that's the gym, music or gaming, go a long way.

Funding

This support is usually funded from the Core Supports budget in an NDIS plan, but every plan is different. Send us the details and we'll help you work out how it lines up.

Questions

Is daily personal activities support only for personal care?

No. It covers the day to day routines a person needs a hand with. What that means is different for everyone, and we shape it around the goals in the person's plan.

Can family or carers be involved?

Yes. Many families want regular updates and a say in how support runs. Tell us how involved you'd like to be and we'll work to that.

How do I find out if it fits my plan?

Get in touch with your plan details or ask your support coordinator to reach out. We'll talk it through with you honestly.
